Obviously, one of the problems that interfere with use of small hydropower plants on rivers and streams, it is - floods. "Immersion HPP can solve this problem. The fundamental idea of this HPS is simple enough. In particular, such a hydroelectric turbine uses a plain "water wheel", which is taken into the body, as shown in Fig. 1, which consists of a bell and a gateway for the flow of water. GES is attached to the bottom of the flow of water (river, stream) and can rise above the stream. However, in case of flooding, the bell air is supplied under a certain pressure, sufficient to maintain normal levels of flow turbine. The air supply of a bell can be both outside and its own compressor located inside the bell. (Of course, there must be developed not flooded ducts. In addition, Bell may include heating).   We emphasize that this involves the use of hydroelectric energy flow of water rather than the pressure drop due to the difference between the levels of flow before and after the turbine.
